Approving label changes with the built-in workflow

Do you still approve changes to product labels by email? Loftware Cloud Essentials includes a fixed approval workflow: the Label Production Approval Process. Every change goes through the same steps, and on the shop floor, only the latest approved version is printed.

Draft: the author creates or changes the label.
Approval requested: the author submits the label for review.
Approved and published: the approver approves the label and it is published automatically.
Rejected: the approver sends the label back, and the author adjusts it and requests approval again.

Every user has their own role: authors design and submit, approvers review and operators only print. Operators only see published labels, so a draft or unapproved change never ends up on a product by accident.

A comment is required at each step, and the system records who did what and when. With version control, Loftware Cloud keeps all previous versions: you compare versions, view the full history and restore an older version if needed.

The workflow in Cloud Essentials is fixed and cannot be changed.
